I steered away much from consuming Steak, beef, and pork. I don’t eat Chicken cheese steaks anymore. I’m mindful about what I eat at the Hibachi restaurant because oil converts to Estrogen in the body and raises bad cholesterol levels and contributes to unhealthy weight gain. I used to be almost meatless back in the day. I find myself wanting to revisit those days now with this new weight loss journey. 🙂
You should do it!
Sounds nice!
We haven’t eaten meet in our household for over 2 years. It’s been amazing for our health and also the environment!
Great job!
Perfect timing!
I just read The Longevity Diet by Dr. Valter Longo. It seriously made me consider how much meat I’m eating and I decided it’s time to cut back.
Thanks for the recommendations!
I’ll have to check that out!
I’ve cut back on meat recently due to some documentaries I watched on Netflix. The maltreatment of the animals and environmental impacts are obscene. I haven’t stopped eating meat, I just eat it less and enjoy it more when I do have it.
Thanks for these awesome recipes. Can’t wait to try!
Let me know which one is your fave!
Thanks so much for including my jambalaya recipe in your roundup! The shepherd’s pie and pineapple fried rice look amazing! I’ve pinned it to all my vegetarian boards.
Thank you!
We very much like Gnocci with white beans, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, EVOO, garlic and some herbs. So filling and tasty.
