-
What makes Willow Go different from traditional breast pumps?
Willow Go offers the best of both worlds — built with hospital-grade suction and a comfortable tug-and-release latch (the same you’re used to if you’ve used other wearables or a traditional pump) while fitting fully in-bra.
-
How many ounces does Willow Go hold?
Willow Go holds up to 5 oz of milk (10 oz total). If you pump more than 5 oz per side, purchase our 7 oz containers to pump up to 14 oz per session (sold separately).
-
What do you mean by hospital grade strength?
Willow Go offers maximum suction of up to -280 mmHG per side. It’s also a closed-system pump, just like hospital-grade pumps, to keep your breast milk separate from the pump mechanisms for cleanliness and hygiene.
-
Is it okay to share my Willow Go breast pump with other moms?
The Willow Go pump is a single-user device that should not be shared between moms.
-
Do I need a special bra for Willow Go?
No. But Willow Go works best with a pumping or nursing bra that’s snug and stretchy with full coverage so just the top of the pumps peek out. Avoid bras with underwire or padding. The Daily Pumping Bra is designed specifically for Willow pumps.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2025Style: Go Pump - DoubleVerified PurchaseExtremely helpful. I would not have been able to pump at work without this. & I actually got more output from this than the spectra wall plugged one I received through my insurance.
I am pretty slim, so it was noticeable when worn and I could hear it vibrating at work when in use but others said they couldn't hear it / didn't notice it (I work in an open office). Additionally, I was able to walk around and continue pumping while wearing this.
The only issue is it does tend to spill if you bend over, but I could manage squatting down rather than bending over once I noticed that. I also had to order several spare parts to pump enough while at work, as I was not able to wash them until I got home.
I would definitely recommend this for moms returning to work, as it makes the pumping / continuing to nurse journey more feasible.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2025Style: Duckbill Valve SetVerified PurchaseBased on my experience using Willow pumps for nearly five months, I appreciate their products However, I noted that the valves are delicate; my first pair tore, likely due to rough cleaning. I recommend handling them carefully during cleaning to avoid damaging the sensitive part where milk flows. Additionally, proper placement of the valves is important to ensure strong suction, if not you can allow air to escape, reducing potentially making it seem like the pump isn’t working.
Few pros are that BPA-free silicone, easy to clean and dishwasher safe. Don't forget to clean valves gently and make sure to instal them correctlty to maintain suction strength.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2024Style: Go Pump - DoubleVerified PurchaseI really thought I had done my research before investing in this, but I’m really disappointed in this product. Here’s what I don’t like about it—hope it’s helpful to someone else.
1) No visibility: unlike other pumps I’ve used, you have little to no view of what’s going on while pumping so you can adjust. It’s really difficult to ensure you’re centered, to know if you have the right flange size, or even to monitor output as you go.
2) Too many parts: Pumping is notoriously annoying for the amount of dishes it creates. This one is even worse than the average pump. There are five parts to wash each time…
3) …And related to that, you still have to dirty yet another dish, because you can’t store the milk in the attached container. You have to pour it into something else. Also, the attached container is pretty awkward to pour. It's hard to get every last drop out.
4) Can’t turn the Bluetooth off. I thought I had researched this, but it turns out only Willow’s other pump model offers the ability to turn off the Bluetooth. Just kind of grosses me out.
5) Charging. You can get a max of three pumps out of a charge, which is way lower than the other portable pump I’ve used. Also, you can’t use it while it’s charging.
6) Replacement/back-up parts are extremely expensive compared to other pumps.
7) Bulky & heavy: These are much larger and less discreet than I anticipated. I can feel them weighing me down, and it's tough to find the right bra to support them. I'd never wear them out of the house. I can do dishes and things like that while pumping, but it's pretty difficult to pick up the baby because of the bulky size. (Not to mention you can't bend over or the milk will spill out.)
8) Production: Verdict is still out on this, but so far it seems like I am able to get way less using this pump than I can from a Baby Buddha or Medela Symphony.
Of course, the second you open the box, you’re SOL if a pump doesn’t work for you. Hope this saves someone else the costly mistake I made with this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Willow go!
Style: Go Pump - DoubleVerified PurchaseThis pump changed my life, I previously hated pumping. I was using medela swing single pump and attached to the wall most of the time. Now I can walk about freely and it’s fast. The suction is good. Even though it’s only good for about 4 pumps (15mins each) it is still a great investment! The charging time is not bad, roughly about an hour and a half. I will recommend it! Delivery time faster than expected.
